Frederick Horne is a Legal Assistant and Notary Public. He began his career at Cummings & Kennedy Law Firm as an intern through the College Internship Program, where he quickly became a favorite among our clients. His dedication and commitment to our clients has cemented his place among our legal staff. Frederick received his Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice from East Carolina University in 2020, and graduated with honors. Frederick also served as a Member of the Criminal Justice Society and was a candidate for the Alpha Phi Sigma National Criminal Justice Honor Society. He is local to the area, having graduated from West Carteret High School in 2016 where he played and excelled at football. In his free time, Fred enjoys working out, watching crime shows, and fishing. He is a first year law student at North Carolina Central University’s School of Law, where he is a member of the school’s Trial Advocacy Board, competes on the school’s trial team, and has recently been elected to serve as the Student Bar Association representative for his second-year class.
